Swiss travel agent KUONI REISEN HOLDING AG has acquired the Indian group SITA WORLD TRAVEL (annual turnover CHF 110 million with 850 employed). The company will be merged with KUONI TRAVEL INDIA (annual turnover CHF 42 million), the Indian subsidiary of KUONI, thus giving rise to a new entity worth around CHF 150 million in turnover that will be the leader in this sector in India.
