Commission takes France and Belgium to court for violation of citizens access to environmental information

Brussels, 06/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission announced its decision to move to the second stage (before the European Court of Justice) the infraction proceedings against Belgium and France for non-respect of Community legislation relating to citizens access to information of an environmental nature (Directive 90/313/EC). Here is what the Commission accuses them of:
