ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automobile equipment

PLASTIC OMNIUM (France) has announced the takeover of the South Korean automobile components manufacturer POLYTEK (30 bn wons turnover in 1999), main national manufacturer of plastic petrol reservoirs, for an undisclosed sum. PLASTIC OMNIUM's fuels division generated a turnover of 317.7 million euro in 1999, 78% of which outside France.
