In Italy, TELECOM ITALIA and BANCA DI ROMA are to create a totally virtual bank which will offer its clients a range of banking and financial products throughout Italy. The financial institution will have an 85% stake and the telecoms group and its mobile telephony subsidiary TIM 15%.
