Luxembourg, 05/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday evening, the Court of Justice received the appeal made by the European Commission against France, which has not done away with the ban on imports of British beef in violation of a Community decision. Several days earlier, it had received the French appeal against the Commission's decision to do away with the European ban on the same meat.
