Brussels, 05/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - As EUROPE has already amply explained, the EU directive on take-over bids is ready. An agreement of principle between the Fifteen was reached on 21 June, and since then the text has been finalised. Nonetheless, formal adoption remains linked to an agreement between Spain and the United Kingdom on the application of the directive to the territory of Gibraltar (each Member State must specify which authority is empowered to supervise application), an...
