On 4 May, the European Union to have a motto

Brussels, 05/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - On the initiative of "Ouest-France" and the "Caen Memorial" for peace, around forty major European newspapers participated in September 1999 in the launch of a "Motto for Europe" competition, inviting young people aged 10 to 19 to propose a motto over the Internet symbolising the meaning of the outstanding adventure that is European construction.
