Nearly one woman in three has suffered psychological violence at hands of her partner, says EU’s Fundamental Rights Agency

A report by the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) and the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), published on Tuesday 3 March, reveals that 29.9% of women have experienced psychological violence at the hands of their partner. For 12.7% of them, such violence is frequent. 9.8% were physically injured by their partner and 9.6% suffered psychological trauma.
