Price offer for Chinese electric vehicles - European Commission highlights exceptional measure for sector

Speaking to MEPs on the Committee on International Trade (INTA) on Tuesday 24 February, the European Commission explained that it had been approached by numerous exporting producers following the acceptance of an initial price undertaking offer from Volkswagen (Anhui) Automotive, based in China (see EUROPE B13806A22).

“There were many companies that reached out to us to ask many questions”, explained Carolina Cumbo Nacheli, Head of Unit at DG Trade.
