European Commission reiterates: EU must “remain committed” to terms of agreement with United States

The European Commission is maintaining its position of respecting the terms of the joint EU-US statement agreed in the summer of 2025. It reiterated this on Wednesday 25 February, reinforcing the message delivered by the Commissioner for Trade, Maroš Šefčovič, the previous day to the European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade (see EUROPE B13815A8).
