Stéphanie Yon-Courtin advocates a competition framework that allows for European champions to emerge in key sectors

On Tuesday 24 February, Renew Europe’s French MEP Stéphanie Yon-Courtin published her draft motion for a European Parliament resolution on the state of competition policy in 2025.

As the Commission is set to reassess competition rules this year and adapt them to the new competitiveness needs, the French MEP believes that Europe’s lack of critical mass in strategic sectors is an obstacle.
