European Parliament ready to negotiate with EU Council on new flexibilities and benefits for mid-sized companies

On Wednesday 25 February, the European Parliament Committees on the Environment (ENVI), Home Affairs (LIBE) and Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) adopted their positions on the new category of intermediate company between SMEs and large companies, as proposed by the Commission in its 2025 ‘Omnibus IV’ package, and on the new simplifications for which these companies will be eligible.
