22/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 21 January, the European Commission announced that bids for the supply of hydrogen from 260 projects had been submitted by European and international companies between 12 November 2025 and 2 January 2026, as part of the first phase of the ‘hydrogen mechanism’ (see EUROPE B13751A21).
