EDPB and EDPS are clearly opposed to deferring obligations of AI Act for high-risk systems

In their joint opinion published on Wednesday 21 January, the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) and the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) are more than cautious about the changes made to the artificial intelligence (AI) Act, particularly the postponement of obligations and the flexibility of use of personal data (see EUROPE B13755A3).
