20/11/25 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 20 November, the European Commission concluded its anti-dumping investigation into Chinese imports of plywood made solely from sheets of wood. It has decided to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on the product and to collect the provisional duties secured since June (see EUROPE 13656/23). The rate of the duty has significantly increased compared to the provisional measure: the sampled company Pizhou Jiangshan Wood Co., Ltd, is subject to a tariff of 43.3%, and all other Chinese exporters are subject to the very high rate of 86.8%.
