30/10/25 (Agence Europe) – The European Disability Forum published, on Monday 27 October, an updated version of its guide to implementing the European Artificial Intelligence Act. This document should help organisations to understand, apply and monitor the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) - the first rules of which came into force last February (see EUROPE 13571/39) - particularly in defending the rights of people with disabilities in the development and use of AI in their respective countries. This second edition takes into account the latest guidance from the European Commission, in particular on prohibited AI systems, the definition of AI systems, the obligations related to general-purpose AI systems, as well as the draft guidelines on reporting serious incidents and the Code of Conduct for general-purpose AI. Regular updates are planned. To read the guide: https://aeur.eu/f/j7c (NP)
