Unfair commercial practices - no agreement has yet been reached between EU institutions on evaluation of text

17/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – During the negotiations between the Council of the EU and the European Parliament on unfair commercial practices, no agreement was reached on the evaluation contrary to what we had indicated(see EUROPE B13732A14). On the evaluation (the European Parliament wants the first evaluation of Directive 2019/633, accompanied by a report setting out its main conclusions, to be submitted to the Commission by 1 November 2025 at the latest), the negotiators will explore...
