Member States of International Maritime Organization do not adopt regulation aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions to zero

17/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 17 October in London, the member states of the United Nations’ International Maritime Organization (IMO) failed to adopt the agreement reached in April to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from shipping to zero by 2050 (see EUROPE B13620A8).
