Belgium and Sweden adopt new Centralised Clearance for Import system

17/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – Belgium and Sweden joined the Centralised Clearance for Import (CCI) system on Wednesday 15 October. This system aims to digitalise the customs clearance process at European level, as defined in the Customs Code (see EUROPE B13445A29). These two countries have started using the standard ‘CCI’-Phase 1 declaration, including the pre-registered declaration.
