13/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 13 October, the Council of the European Union extended the EU’s restrictive measures against the proliferation and use of chemical weapons for a further year, until 16 October 2026. In force since 2018, these sanctions are currently imposed on 25 individuals and three entities. They are subject to an asset freeze and a visa ban for individuals. EU persons and entities are prohibited from making funds, financial assets or economic resources available to them. (MB)
