EU Council gives green light to new tariff quotas in EU/Ukraine agreement

13/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday13 October, the Council of the European Union adopted the decision to revise the EU/Ukraine Trade Agreement (DCFTA) along the lines proposed by the European Commission in June (see EUROPE B13726A28). This green light will enable the DCFTA Association Committee to adopt the decision and implement the new tariff quotas decided on, as well as the terms of the safeguard to protect European farmers.
