According to three experts interviewed by the Climate Action Network (CAN Europe) and MEP Saskia Bricmont (Greens/EFA, Belgian), the rebalancing mechanism added to the EU/Mercosur trade agreement will apply to ‘Green Deal’ texts that have not yet been fully implemented.
