COP30 - Climate Action Network Europe calls on EU to clarify its commitments to financing developing countries

On Wednesday 1 October, the Climate Action Network Europe (CAN Europe), a network of climate NGOs, sent a letter to the European Commission calling on the EU to clarify both its contribution to international climate financing and its commitment to vulnerable countries in the run-up to COP30 in Belém, Brazil, in November. In particular, CAN Europe is urging Member States to announce before the conference how they plan to increase their contributions between now and 2030 in order to meet...
