European Commission expected to present package on ‘fair’ mobility for workers in second quarter of 2026

22/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 18 September, an error crept into the remarks attributed to the Vice-President of the European Commission, Roxana Mînzatu, responsible for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, on the sidelines of the Social Forum in Porto (see EUROPE 13712/1). The package on “fair” worker mobility is scheduled for “the second quarter of 2026”, she said, and not the end of summer 2026, contrary to what Agence Europe had mistakenly understood.
