Europêche calls for tuna to be excluded from trade negotiations with Thailand

22/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – As the EU begins new negotiations on a free trade agreement with Thailand on 29 September, Europêche, the EU’s shipowners’ organisation, warned on Monday 22 September of the risk of Thai tuna flooding the European market, reinforced by the recent increase in US customs duties (see EUROPE B13611A7, B13675A33).
