European Commission rules out relaxing N+2 rule for CAP

22/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – Faced with a request (https://aeur.eu/f/ij2) from around 10 agriculture ministers to change the rules, on Monday 22 September, the European Commissioner for Agriculture, Christophe Hansen, pointed out that the N+2 automatic decommitment rule for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) had been decided in 2020.
