EU extends sanctions regime by one year

22/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council has extended by one year, until 10 October 2026, the restrictive European measures against those responsible for destabilising Sudan and hindering its political transition. The ten individuals and eight entities covered by these sanctions continue to be subject to an EU-wide travel ban, the freezing of their assets and a prohibition on making funds or economic resources available to them, directly or indirectly (see EUROPE B13684A38). Link to...
