Lieutenant General Ludovic Pinon de Quincy appointed Commander of Operation Althea

French Lieutenant General Ludovic Pinon de Quincy, Vice-Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), has been appointed EU Operation Commander for the European Union military operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with effect from 1 August 2025, according to a legal act published in the Official Journal of the EU on Monday 21 July.
