Former Malian Prime Minister Choguel Maïga no longer on EU sanctions list

22/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 18 July, the Council of the European Union adopted a decision removing Choguel Maïga from the list of individuals subject to European Union sanctions. “This decision is based on the consideration that it is no longer justifiable to maintain the sanctions imposed on Choguel Maïga”, a spokesman for the European External Action Service (EEAS) told Agence Europe on Tuesday.
