Several French spirits producers have reached an agreement with China to avoid anti-dumping tariffs

Prior to the imposition of a Chinese anti-dumping tariff on European spirits, several French producers reached agreements with Beijing to set minimum import prices, enabling them to avoid the anti-dumping tariff. In our July 4 article on this subject (see EUROPE B13674A4), we incorrectly wrote that negotiations on minimum import prices had all failed. The error has been corrected in the online versions of our newsletter. (LM)
