Several French spirits producers have reached an agreement with China to avoid anti-dumping tariffs

Prior to the imposition of a Chinese anti-dumping tariff on European spirits, several French producers reached agreements with Beijing to set minimum import prices, enabling them to avoid the anti-dumping tariff. In our July 4 article on this subject (see EUROPE 13674/4), we incorrectly wrote that negotiations on minimum import prices had all failed. The error has been corrected in the online versions of our newsletter. (LM)
