Greens/EFA group calls for urgency procedure to adopt European Parliament’s position on 2040 target

07/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 7 July, MEPs from the Greens/EFA group announced that they were calling for the adoption of an urgency procedure on the 2040 climate target to enable the European Union to finalise its position on the issue before COP30, which is scheduled to take place in November, in Belém (Brazil).
