European Commission consults on CO2 emission standards for cars and vans, and on car labelling

On Monday 7 July, the European Commission launched calls for contributions and a joint public consultation on the evaluation and revision of CO2 emission performance standards for new cars and vans and on the revision of the Car Labelling Directive.

The public consultation is part of the ‘Industrial action plan for the European automotive sector’ (see EUROPE B13592A4) presented by the Commission at the beginning of April. It will feed into the revision of this regulation on CO2...
