05/06/25 (Agence Europe) – Access to insurance products needs to be simplified, become more digital, and be made more user-friendly in order to meet the younger European generation’s particular needs. Such are the findings of a survey published on Thursday, 5 June, by Insurance Europe, the European insurance and reinsurance federation, in partnership with the European Youth Parliament. The study collected opinions from 651 young people from 33 European countries. The findings show that although young people recognise the value of the protection that insurance offers, they often find it too complicated to take out insurance. The majority associate insurance with security and peace of mind, but they also describe it as “paperwork-heavy”. See the full report: https://aeur.eu/f/h6o (BD)
