EIB broadens its technical assistance offer to promoters of projects to decarbonise economy

03/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 3 June, the European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced that they had renewed and extended the offer of technical and financial assistance provided by the EIB, via the European Innovation Fund, to promoters of projects aimed at decarbonising the economy. Between 2025 and 2028, up to 250 innovative projects will be supported thanks to an overall budget that will rise from €24 million to €90 million. The mobility and construction sectors are now included in the themes covered. Requests for technical assistance can now be made directly to the EIB, in particular with a view to applying for financial assistance from the European Innovation Fund.
