03/06/25 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 2 June, the European Union and Germany announced the launch of the ‘EU-Cambodia Business Partnership Facility’ to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Cambodia, in collaboration with the Cambodian Ministries of Commerce and Agriculture. With technical assistance of up to €2 million for 60 companies, this initiative aims to improve access to international markets, particularly those of the EU and ASEAN. The ‘Mechanism’ comprises two programmes: the ‘Agri-Innovation Lab’, which helps companies improve the processing of key crops such as cashew nuts, pepper and chilli, and the ‘Export Lab’, which provides the expertise they need to develop their export capabilities.
