Protecting ocean areas is not a punitive measure against fishermen, says MEP Emma Fourreau

On Tuesday 13 May in Brussels, MEP Emma Fourreau (The Left, French) presented a “counter-plan” of more than one hundred measures to protect the oceans, which aims to encourage the European Commission and Member States to adopt a more ambitious approach to preserving the planet’s “blue lung”.
