Euro area countries ready to speed up work on digital euro

13/05/25 (Agence Europe) – The finance ministers of the euro area countries feel an increasing “sense of urgency” about the digital euro project, noted the President of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe, on the evening of Monday 12 May. “We agreed to speed up work and aim to find compromises on the remaining issues”, he added.
