Slovakia renominates Maroš Šefčovič as candidate for European Commissioner post

17/06/2024 (Agence Europe) – Replacing Robert Fico at the informal EU Council of European heads of state on Monday 17 June, (see EUROPE B13410A1), the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, announced that Maroš Šefčovič had been nominated as candidate for European Commissioner.
