Member States agree in principle on negotiating frameworks for Ukraine and Moldova

The Member States’ ambassadors to the EU gave their agreement in principle to the negotiating frameworks for the accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova on the evening of Friday 14 June, the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council announced on X.

“The Belgian Presidency will convene the first intergovernmental conferences on 25 June”, it added.

According to a European source, the Presidency had proposed a new compromise in the afternoon, which was therefore agreed in principle...
