EU extends sanctions linked to illegal annexation of Crimea for another year

17/06/24 (Agence Europe)On Monday 17 June, the EU Council decided to extend until 23 June 2025 the sanctions introduced by the EU in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation in June 2014 (see EUROPE B11106A2). The measures include bans on imports into the EU of products originating in Crimea or Sevastopol, and on investment in infrastructure, financial services and tourist services from these illegally annexed territories....
