14/05/24 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 14 May, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) announced that 28 start-ups had been selected as part of the ‘Catalyst’ accelerator programme linked to the New European Bauhaus (NEB). Together with its partners EIT Food, EIT Manufacturing and EIT Urban Mobility, the EIT Climate-KIC leads the EIT Community dedicated to NEB, whose role is to support projects that, on the ground, embody the values of the NEB movement, in particular, according to the EIT, “the recognition of aesthetics and design beyond functionality”. The selected start-ups will benefit from support services worth a total of €50,000. In addition, the EIT has announced that each of the 28 start-ups will benefit from a range of resources designed to boost their growth and impact over the course of the one-year acceleration programme.
