European Parliament calls on European Commission to deepen sustainable development with Southern African Development Community

On Thursday 29 February, MEPs adopted, by 397 votes to 47 with 89 abstentions, the report by Joachim Schuster (S&D, German) on the implementation of the EU-Southern African Development Community (SADC) Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). The latter includes Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Eswatini.
