Nature conservation, European Commission refers Portugal for second time to CJEU for failure to comply with previous Court judgment

The European Commission decided, on Wednesday 7 February, to refer Portugal to the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) for failure to comply with a Court judgment condemning it for non-compliance with the requirements of Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (Habitats Directive).
