French Reconquête! party joins family of European conservatives

The French Reconquête! party, founded by Éric Zemmour, is joining the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) party and the group of the same name in the European Parliament, its vice-president Marion Maréchal announced in the magazine Le Point on Wednesday 7 February.

The head of the Reconquête! list for the European elections spent “many long months” negotiating with the Italian Prime Minister and leader of the ECR Party, Giorgia Meloni.
