European Commission validates 3,500th entry in register of geographical indications

23/02/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Thursday 23 February the addition of ‘Corrèze’ wines from France to the register of protected designations of origin (PDO). This is the 3,500th entry in the European Register of Geographical Indications. ‘Corrèze’ wines include red wines, white wines and wines made from raisined grapes bearing the traditional ‘Vin de Paille’ label.
