07/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 6 October, the European Commission launched a four-week public consultation on a draft implementing regulation on the format of the records to be kept by professional users of pesticides under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, which governs the market authorisation of plant protection products in the EU. Under the implementing regulation submitted for consultation, professional users will be required to record and retain certain data (the name of the product, time and dose of application, area and crop on which the product was used) in an electronic format.
