07/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – The MSCA4Ukraine (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions for Ukraine) initiative (see EUROPE 13031/5) was officially launched by Viviane Hoffmann, European Commission Deputy Director-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, and Igor Taranov, Director-General for Science and Innovation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, at an online event on Thursday 6 October, which attracted 1200 people, according to the European Commission. The initiative, supported with €25 million from Horizon Europe, was set up to support the Ukrainian research community in the context of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine. The call documents and the call for applications are already available. Applications can be submitted when the dedicated portal opens on 24 October.
