European Commission announces €530 million envelope for access to education for refugees

The European Commission announced on Tuesday 21 December that it had adopted two funding decisions - totalling €560 million - to support refugee education and help manage human migration in Turkey.

The overall envelope is divided into two parts. The first, with €530 million to promote the integration of children in the education system and to give refugees in Turkey access to higher education.

The second component, worth €30 million should help the country manage the migration issue...
