21/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – The representatives of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) appointed seven judges to the EU General Court on Tuesday 21 December. Estonia’s Lauri Madise and Iko Nõmm, Cyprus’ Anna Marcoulli and Savvas S. Papasavvas, and Finland’s Tuula Pynnä and Heikki Kanninen were reappointed as judges of the General Court for a term of office beginning on 1 September 2022 and ending on 31 August 2028. Slovenia’s Damjan Kukovec and Ireland’s Suzanne Kingston have been appointed judges of the General Court for a period from the date of entry into force of the appointment decision until 31 August 2025. The same goes for Greece’s Ioannis Dimitrakopoulos, but until 31 August 2022. (MB)
