28/10/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 28 October the European Commission adopted two new decisions stating that the Covid-19 certificates issued by Armenia and the United Kingdom are equivalent to the EU certificate, it announced in a statement. “As a result, both countries will be connected to the EU system and the Covid certificates they issue will be accepted in the EU under the same conditions as the EU Digital Covid-19 Certificate. Equally, both countries have agreed to accept the EU Digital Covid-19 Certificate for travel from the EU to their countries”, the statement adds. There are now 45 countries connected to the European system. The two decisions adopted on 28 October will enter into force on 29 October. (SP)
